Information we collect
Contact form
When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and your message. That information is emailed to the salon so we can reply. We use Maileroo to deliver those emails.
Online booking
Appointments are booked through Square Appointments, which is embedded on our booking page. Square collects the details needed to make and manage your appointment, such as your name, contact details, and the service you choose. That information is handled by Square under its own privacy policy.
Website preferences
The site stores two preferences in your browser: your light or dark theme choice, and whether you have dismissed a site notice. These stay on your device. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this website.
How we use it
We use contact details and messages to reply to enquiries. Booking details are used to arrange and manage appointments. Browser preferences are used only to remember how you prefer to view the site. We do not sell personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is needed to run these features:
- Maileroo delivers contact-form emails to the salon inbox.
- Square receives the details you enter when you book an appointment.
- Google Maps provides the map on our contact page. Loading that map may allow Google to receive technical information such as your IP address, under Google's own privacy policy.
Enquiry emails are kept in the salon's email so staff can respond. We do not keep a separate customer database on this website.
Access, correction, and concerns
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you from a website enquiry, and you can ask us to correct it. Contact classicsalon.tas@gmail.com or call 0469 345 183. For appointment records held by Square, you may also need to contact Square directly.
